ABSTRACT & MIXED MEDIA

I start my abstract paintings with an attitude of play and a vague idea of where I want to go. Once there are marks on the canvas, the process becomes a kind of call and response. Eventually I recognize what my subconscious is trying to tell me and the painting evolves. Most of my abstracts express a mood or a metaphor.
