WATER

I have always been inspired by water. I could sit and watch it for hours. When I look at water and quietly listen, it becomes a mirror to my emotions. It can be both calming and intense. If I’m lucky, it reveals answers. When I paint water, whether abstractly or realistically, it’s usually tied to emotion. Each painting has an emotionally connected story to tell. While it isn’t necessary that viewers see my intention, my hope is that I have given them a place to reflect and contemplate their own story.
