This painting refers to the moment when your emotions need to be released. The water breaking at the shoreline could be seen as a burst of excitement or upset. That part is up to you. The focus for most of my water paintings is to reveal the emotions that water evokes in us when we sit with it and observe how it moves in the environment. The painting was done from photos I took at Lake Wallenpaupack in Pennsylvania.
The sides of this piece are painted. It is wired and ready to hang, so there is no need for a frame, but it can be if you'd like.
